Baby Death Tragedy

|

On January 16, 2013, a tragedy befell a Boston area family when their one year old daughter, Rehma Sabir, succumbed to massive brain swelling.

Baby Rehma was under the care of an Irish immigrant named Aisling McCarthy Brady. Brady, who was illegally working in the US as a nanny, allegedly attacked the one year old on her first birthday, January 14th. She was rushed to Children's Hospital in Boston before being pronounced dead two days later.

During the autopsy, officials discovered that the baby had prior injuries, including an existing fracture to her left arm and leg.

Should Aisling McCarthy Brady be found guilty of assault and battery (or murder, which may be added on at a later date), the family could also sue Brady for wrongful death on behalf of little Rehma.

Money can never replace the loss of a loved one. However, sometimes that's the best way to come to terms with what happened and hold someone accountable for their actions. If you have a possible claim, contact our office today for a free consultation.
