On May 21, 2010, a healthy 59 year old man was in an accident while riding his motorcycle. A truck driver heading in the opposite direction, saw the motorcyclist but believed he had plenty of time to turn. As he attempted to make a left turn in front of the motorcyclist, the motorcyclist collided with the truck and died of his injuries. The motorcyclist was the father of four adult children.
Recently, the wife of the decedent settled out of court with the truck driver for $1.63 million.
